The technological dynamics of the digital age continue to impact the decisions of industries and firms on where to locate and where they tend to cluster geographically. Some of the impacts and structural patterns are consistent with the old or Fordist economic era; some are not.
The contributors to this book provide a balanced view of the "Digital Economy" perspective and through new analyses illustrate where dynamics seem to be emerging and where more traditional patterns seem to be holding.
