Panzergrenadiere is the name for the mechanized infantry of todays German Federal Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). In todays Bundeswehr the panzergrenadiers form the largest part of the German infantry and are also an integral member of Germanys armored forces. They are organized as panzergrenadier brigades and are also fully integrated the panzer brigades.
