This atlas provides a complete set of images of Local Group Galaxies and shows the most important objects, including many individual stars and interstellar objects. Objects identified in some 200 charts include variable stars, globular star clusters, open star clusters, dust clouds, and supernova remnants. Each galaxy is accompanied by an extensive bibliography. The atlas is useful for researchers, students, and amateur astronomers. The authors are affiliated with the University of Washington. There is no subject index.
