Remarkably little has been published on Polish airmen who fled the German invaders and continued fighting them in the air forces of other nations and as members of the Free Polish Forces. This book is heavily illustrated with photographs and colour drawings of French MS 406, CR 714, and MB151,152 combat aircraft flown during 1940 by Polish airmen. There is some effective text that is supported by information in tables to pack a great deal of information into a relatively small number of pages, but for many readers the great value of this work will be in the rare photographs and drawings. Production quality is very good and any serious library of WWII or aviation topics cannot afford to be without a copy.
