Ebook: Reweaving the Autistic Tapestry: Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and Adhd

This text analyzes the links between ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Syndrome) and those disorders on the Autistic spectrum. It uses the metaphor of a tapestry to explain to parents and professionals the interwoven nature of these disorders. Case studies are described alongside drawn tapetries toshow how this simple visual method can easily be used as a construct to define rich and unique personal landscapes. The author emphasizes that evidence of combined overactivity and signs of autistic behaviour should lead us to take into greater consideraton early intensive system intervention, which may interfere with the development of autism.
