Ebook: Galois theory

A textbook for upper-level undergraduate students of mathematics, first published in 1972 and revised in 1988. The third edition is revised to account for changes, not in the mathematics, but in undergraduate education, and so starts with polynomials over the complex numbers, and explains when such polynomials have solutions that can be expressed by radicals.
