Following a car accident, thirty something Joe Daniels wakes up at ten years old, seemingly forced to relive the emotionally traumatic string of events leading to a school bully viciously revealing his previously undisclosed adoption. Eventually finding himself in a hospital, in apparently good condition, he rapidly deteriorates into unconsciousness, the result of an as yet undiagnosed brain injury. He now awakens as a teenager in the presence of his previously deceased father. While there he is introduced to a mysterious, but oddly familiar, girl who not only claims to have just saved his life, but also leaves him with cryptic and disturbing reality altering information. A police accident report later leads Joe to the same mysterious girl, now a thirty something year old college professor. As they become acquainted, she slowly reveals additional mind-bending details surrounding a very old clandestine "group" and their not so normal shared genetic beginnings. Additionally, she alerts him about an impending emotionally charged reunion of souls with the one woman who has loved him in countless lives before and is about to join him once again in this one. Their familiar bond is immediately strong, but is it strong enough to withstand their shared and growing secret knowledge and the seemingly continuous interfering presence of the group?
