n the seventeen years between the inception of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on 8 August 1967 and the publication of this Bibliography, the region has witnessed a flowering of ASEAN-related activities, co-operative enterprises, and institutions both governmental and non-governmental which bear the keyword "ASEAN". The bibliography, the first of its kind, provides access to a very diffused body of material - over 6,300 entries in all, including monographs, periodical articles, theses and dissertations, official documents, conference papers, radio monitoring reports, press releases, selected press cuttings, an a wide variety of unpublished literature.
