Ebook: Morphology 2000: Selected papers from the 9th Morphology Meeting, Vienna, 24–28 February 2000

This volume presents selected papers from the Ninth International Morphology Meeting held in Vienna in February 2000. In the spirit of the meeting, this volume focuses on the main topic "comparative morphology" (that is, cross-linguistic analysis, including typology, dialectology and diachrony) and on the minor topic "psycholinguistics". Topics covered include: the lexical bases of morphological well-formedness; what you can do with derivational morphology; morphology, typology and computation; the aquisition of German plurals; passive in Arabic and English; and inflectional morphemes as syntactic heads.
