This book is dedicated to the Axis solders of World War 2. Though maligned by the victor's history - it was due only to the immense courage, bravery and sacrifices of German, Italian and other Axis forces that Soviet troops did not succeed in raising the Red flag over Paris, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Rome, Stockholm, and, perhaps, London." Honor and a Higher Duty is the hallmark of Fascism. The book "Fascism & Dharma" shows the synthesis of two ideologies from vastly different cultures that have so much in common. Fascism and Dharma shatters the illusions of Fascism perpetrated on the world for so long and exposes World War 2's other histories seldom reported. The Edicts of Emperor Ashoka which set the moral code of a vast Empire are central to the concept of Dharma. It is the duty of the citizen to honor a code of morality for himself and the state. The Fascist conception of life is an ideology, in which man is viewed in his immanent relation to a higher law..." The "higher law" is Dharma. The eternal law is Dharma and the negation of "opportunistic considerations" are part of the eight fold path and includes honor, duty and the moral code of your society. The Fascist State, as a higher and more powerful expression of personality, is not only a force, but a spiritual one. It sums up all the manifestations of the moral and intellectual life of man. Its functions cannot be limited to those enforcing order and keeping the peace, as the liberal doctrine had it. It is no mere mechanical device for defining the sphere within which the individual may duly exercise his supposed rights. It is the Wheel of law (Dharma chakra). It is the eternal law of morality, duty, honor and righteousness. "Fascism, in short, is not only a law-giver and a founder of institutions, but an educator and a promoter of spiritual life. It aims at refashioning not only the forms of life but their content - man, his character, and his faith. To achieve this purpose it enforces discipline and uses authority, entering into the soul and ruling with undisputed sway. Therefore it has chosen as its emblem the bundled Lictor's rods, the symbol of unity, strength, and justice." The emblem of the "Lictor's rods of Fascism is the same as the Dharma chakra or the emblem of the wheel of law of Buddhism. The honor of the in dividual is the honor of the nation. It is what right you can do for yourself, what right you can do for the nation, what right nation is o.bliged to herself, and what right the nation can do for you.
