Ebook: Trifles for a Massacre
Author: Louis-Ferdinand Céline
The tract revolves around the physician-narrator's failed efforts to find a professional dance company to perform his ballets, scenarios for three of which appear in the narrative. In dialogues with a range of interlocutors, the narrator vents his spleen on the people whom he holds responsible for all of his failures--Jews. Céline did not wish this work to be republished after 1945 and his widow, Lucette Destouches, who held the copyright, opposed any new publication, respecting the wishes of her husband.
