Gewährleisteter Christliche Glaube is the German translation of Alvin Plantinga’s seminal work, Warranted Christian Belief. Plantinga was among the most influential religious philosophers of the 20^th century. His notion of “warrant” (more or less: “Gewährleistung”) is difficult to translate, referring to the quality that distinguishes a true belief from knowledge. Plantinga’s core thesis is that religious beliefs can be warranted.
