Ebook: Underground Press Collection: A Guide to the Microfilm Collection, Hoover Institution Supplement

The Hoover Institution Supplement to the Underground Press Collection 1963-1985 is comprised of previously missing issues of 88 alternative press titles from the original collection and of 178 entirely new titles. The publications which appeared in the original Bell & Howell collection are contained on reels 1-6 of the supplement, and their titles are followed by an asterisk in the guide inventory.

The collection is on 16 reels of 35mm. silver halide safety base polyester microfilm with a variable reduction ratio between 12 and 19X. The first item on each roll of microfilm is a list of the titles contained on that reel. Each title is preceded by an inventory of the individual issues the supplement contains.

Access to the collection is provided by a guide which contains the complete collection inventory in alphabetical order.

This guide consists of an alphabetical listing of all available volume, number, issue and date information for the 266 alternative press titles contained in this collection supplement.
