Right from Adam, Noah, Moses, Elijah and Elisha, Jesus and John, upto the second last prophet Muhammed, Lord has sent increasingly more powerful prophets where as The Son - Jesus and the prophet Muhammed had wisdom from all previous prophets.

Jesus said that there no other prophet like John.
And, John said “He is the one with higher rank than myself.”

We, personally, find The Gospel of John not easy to understand like previous ones, Mark, Matthew , and Luke. It is very different.
