God's Rainbow Promise is a book that looks at the issue of human sexuality through the lens of the three-legged stool that the Anglican Church has used for centuries. The legs of the stool are represented by the areas of scripture, tradition, and reason. This book is meant to provide a start for a group to begin a conversation with each other. It emphasizes that God made the promise of the Rainbow to all Noah's descendants. This is one of the reasons that the symbol of the rainbow became a symbol for the homosexual community to recognize safe places. Please make the place you meet to discuss this book with others a safe place for all.

My prayer for those who read God's Rainbow Promise is that they will come away with an appreciation for the opinion of the other, and that we are all God's children, and that there is strength in diversity. Above all, I pray that we live into the summation of God's law found in Matthew chapter 22, by loving God with all of our heart, with all of our mind, and all of our soul, and loving our neighbor as ourselves.
