Bordiga's 1956 polemic against the contents of the 20th Congress of the Soviet Union, most notable for containing Khrushchev's famous "secret speech". Within the text, Bordiga seeks to repudiate the 20th Congress as a potential return to genuine Marxist principles, instead showing how the Congress' words are completely empty and how the new regime simply lays forward a much more naked form of capitalism and imperialism.

Bordiga then goes on to recapitulate and expand upon the issues laid forward in the Dialogue with Stalin, showing how the structure of Russian society is a capitalist one, and busting the myths of the mass growth of the Soviet economy. Even if these myths were true, they still rely on an inherently flawed logic of "emulation", and the idea that socialism is the development of the productive forces, rather than their destruction.

If Stalin was the gravedigger of the revolution, Khrushchev and the 20th Congress were the graverobbers taking and selling what little remained in the revolution's burial ground.
