This is the first volume of Origenes's complete (preserved) works. It contains the Greek text with parallel Latin translation. The best-known of the texts presented, is perhaps CONTRA CELSUM, a rebuttal by Origenes of the "pagan" philosopher Celsus's attack on Christianity. Celsus's text has itself not survived, and has been (elsewhere) synthesised on the basis of Origenes's point-by-point refutation of his argument. [Uploader]
