It should be an accepted principle of textual criticism that no biblical manuscript should be left unexamined. Something is lacking to the science by reason of such neglect. And yet, even more than one hundred and fifty years after initial interest in the field, an entire group of Irish manuscripts of the Latin Bible still remains without the examination these texts merit.
