Ebook: Critical Approaches to Ancient Near Eastern Art

The proposed handbook concentrates on the visual, material, and built aspects of the ancient Near East. It is intended to present a picture of the current state of the field of ancient Near Eastern art history, rather than being an exhaustive textbook. Contributions will engage in critical issues within the field and will be organized around themes, questions and/or methodological approaches, in which authors will address specific periods, regions, and sites in concrete terms.
