Ebook: Encyclopedia of Chart Patterns (Wiley Trading)
Author: Thomas N. Bulkowski
For all the statistics in the book, this book is missing the crucial statistics that measure up to the scientific method. Where's the standard deviations and tests for significance? If you're mathematically inclined like me then you will agree with Aronson of Evidence Based TA that the math in this book is subjective.
This book is not completely without merit. It helps to understand what mistakes others might be making and the author is a truly sincere and honest writer. I don't doubt that he's made money as a Chartist using his methods. Unfortunately, it is too subjective and you'll probably lose money following this book (in the long run) without some more accurate measure of testing. For that, you'll have to do the grease yourself. The money is better spent on an intro statistics book.
