This book is based on an abridged phd thesis completed in Marmara University (Turkey) in 2009. The thesis (and this book) analyses the concept of human capital and the process of human resources in a critical way, argues that the HRM has no original scientific theory and points out some links between HRM and disciplines of psychology of labour, labour economics and labour law.
