Reading the blurb of this book prompted me to pick it up and explore what I expected would be an interesting treatment of game AI. Unfortunately, the blurb is the only well-written section of the entire book.
There are simply countless errors, typos and mistakes throughout the text. Most PAGES have two or three errors. I am dumb-struck at how this book made it to publication in this form.
The mistakes take all forms
- typos, typically the type which pass a spell-check,
- equation errors,
- equation numbering,
- incorrect fonts,
- figure labeling.
Hopefully there will be a second edition where these errors will be corrected and the subject matter is treated as it deserves to be, but this edition should be avoided.
