Companion to 16th Edition Internal Medicine Review Core Curriculum
This flash card product was designed to help learners commit to memory the classic illness scripts for
the most frequently encountered and tested disease states. First, consider the patient's problem
scenario ("illness script") on the front of the card. Then, decide the diagnosis. Turn the card over to see if
you're correct. On the back of the card, you'll also find a short explanation and helpful details regarding
diagnosis and treatment for that "illness script." Each card includes a reference to a specific page in the
16., Edition MedStudy Internal Medicine Review Core Curriculum that will offer additional information
related to that card's topic. To further challenge your knowledge and integrative diagnostic judgment
skills, shuffle the cards without knowing the key subspecialty category across two or more subspecialty
areas. Participants will be required to complete a posttest as part of the requirements for receiving CME
credit for this product.
