From 1975 to 1977, the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and Subcommittee on Health and Scientific Research of the Committee on Human Resources (the Church Committee) Joint Hearing tangled with the same out-of-control CIA that President John F. Kennedy and his brother Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy attempted to contain. After two years of testimony and ten large boxes of documents labeled "MK-ULTRA, 1952-62," the public went back to sleep until the 1995 President's Advisory Committee on Human Radiation Experiments tried again, but to no avail.
Historical accounts insist that MK-ULTRA ended in 1973, but the truth is that it has continued under one name or another, moving from trauma-hypnosis-drugs to remote electromagnetic mind control. (Robert Duncan, author of The Matrix Deciphered and Operation: Soul Catchercalls it EEG cloning / EEG heterodyning.) The last time I checked, MK-ULTRA's latest conduit was the International Cultic Studies Association (ICSA). Access to MK-ULTRA cutting edge technology for no-touch torture and slavery has grown beyond its original federal military and intelligence agency gatekeepers to defense contractors and other transnational corporations, police departments, criminal cabals, cults, churches, NATO members, high-level Satanic (Illuminati) families, etc. You name it; if it leads to greater power, mind control is the name of the game. Get those children while they're young!
Elisa tells her tale in all its horror and pathos. The unique aspect of Our Life Beyond MKULTRA is in the pronoun our that speaks from the reality of being a multiple—that is, from having multiple personalities who also have a say, given that each of them holds one or more memories of horror that Elisa must eventually hear and know in order to deprogram. To speak as "I" is to speak as a singular individual, which Elisa is honest enough to admit is not her condition.
Elisa tells what happened from the vantage point of the programmed twilight zone, which should make this book extraordinarily valuable to professionals grappling with programmed clients, and to victims struggling to come to terms with what it means to live in a twilight with alters living their lives inside their psyche(s)—alters one must build a relationship with in order to learn their secrets.
Elisa is a proponent of the possibility that programming does not so much insert the twilight zone that the programmed must live in as access realms normally unattainable. Given the ascendancy of quantum physics and the scientific possibility that parallel universes are just an eyelash away, the possibility that other realms are being accessed may be pivotal to understanding the working of the brain and, indeed, "reality" itself.
