Matt is a toiling history teacher, a liberal twenty-eight year old and an apologist for German Chancellor Franz von Papen. After a series of professional lapses, Matt loses his first teaching job. He moves from Sheffield to Birmingham and from teaching to bizarre historical re-enactments.
