This is a fantastic book for helping assess whether you are ready to start your own consulting business, and also provides recommended tools and a step by step approach to getting started. I read the book from start to finish. I personally decided not to start my own business at this time due to having 2 young kids at home, but many of the ideas and tools I am using in my current consulting job.
