Ebook: Essays on the theory and practice of imperialism

The author begins with his main theoretical treatment of imperialism. He argues that Marx and Lenin’s thesis basically explains today’s production relations on a world scale, and polemicises against ‘neo-Marxist vulgarisations’ of the theory.

Within this theoretical framework he describes the transnational corporation, using the Tanzanian example to demonstrate his case. This is followed by an analysis of imperialism’s impact on the social sciences, science, education and culture.
