Ebook: Pro Android

In all this book is a decent resource. I think it is a very dry read, and not at all what I would expect from such an exciting area like Android development. Reads like stereo instructions from the early 80's, however, I will say that the authors do go into immense detail (ad nauseum) for their points and the examples. I will credit the book with having some good examples. The intro to OpenGL ES is ok, more academic than practical. In all, it is a good resource for understanding some of the parts of the Android API. Would not recommend this as your first book, or even your second unless you are writing a thesis on Android and need some citations.
