I don't dispute that the subject matter is indeed relevant to lawyers in practicing in a variety of fields.
My problem with this book is that the authors oddly assume that the reader knows much more about statistics than many--if not most--people in the target audience (lawyers/law students) are likely to know. In every chapter that I've read thus far, the authors breeze through fundamental concepts with little or no explanation, and dive right into the application. I find myself searching the internet for supplemental info because I don't understand some of the basic concepts in the book.
It's very difficult to follow unless you are already comfortable with statistics.
