This book is not what I needed. I hoped to find info about compatability with exchange server, customizing outlook today, connecting the calendar to my website, reports, and customizing views. The book mentions these topics, but in no detail.
Most of the information is geared toward a beginner. Almost all of the information in the book can be accessed through help or found at the MS Outlook site.
It has some value though. The section about how to open outlook in alternative ways using command line switches was interesting ie: reseting folder names to Outlook's default, start Outlook with the Reading pane off, start Outlook without loading customized toolbars. It would be nice to have an explaination why or what to expect when you open Outlook this way.
Overall, I learned some things while wading through the obvious! But for me, it's definitely not worth the $30.00+ they're asking.
