This is probably the finest book that was ever published on the MYCIN experimental rulebase for medical diagnostic systems. The methods that they used to "fine tune" the rulebase was simply ground-breaking. Very few firms today understand what they did and therefore cannot mimic their approach - sad but true. On the other hand, if you are doing a rulebase for a medical diagnostic, this book should be required reading. Too bad it's out of print now. [...].
