Ebook: Derivational suffixes in Ili Salır Turkic

Ankara: Uluslararası Sosyal Araştırmalar Dergisi, cilt 6, sayı: 24, Kış 2013, 332-347 s.The aim of this study is to explain the derivational suffixes of Ili (Yīlí) Salır Turkic. In this paper, derivation suffixes (derivational suffixes from noun to noun, derivational suffixes from noun to verb, derivational suffixes from verb to noun, derivational suffixes from verb to verb) in Ili (Yīlí) Salır Turkic is explained by using some works. It is benefited from works named as A Sample of Oral Literature of Xinjiang Salars prepared by Abdurrişid Yakup and An Ili Salar vocabulary–introduction and a provisional Salar-English lexicon prepared by Abdurrişid Yakup and Salar İbret Sözler prepared by Ayso Cañ Cinfer. All suffixes are analysed according to their morphological structures and functions and usage in loanwords.
