It finds negligible improvement in hit probability against a stationary target but significant improvement in hit probability against a moving target. It also compares the effect of improving the fire control with increasing the muzzle velocity. Doubling the muzzle velocity appears superior to a first order predictor but inferior to a second order predictor.
