ECCC Recommendations - Volume 3 Part II defines the material pedigree and testing practice information required to accompany (i) existing and (ii) new creep rupture data for welds. The acceptability criteria for existing test results have been set to make full use of the available data. Those defined for new results are the consequence of a comprehensive review of current practices for testing actual welds and simulated HAZ materials (Appendices 1 and 2).
