2. p. 202-214.The Tibercul case study explores how a religious cult, the "Commune of Vissarion", which considers natural disasters resulting from global climate change as a possible reality in the near future, is building an ecological community in South Siberia, Krasnoyarsky Region, Russia. This paper is a result of qualitative social research conducted in the field during October-November 1998.
