The samples were investigated using X-ray diffraction (XDR), Raman, infrared (IR) and 31P magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance (MAS-NMR) spectroscopies. The X-ray powder diffraction patterns consist in a broad line, typical of vitreous systems. The Raman and IR spectra show significant distorsion of the phosphate groups with silver doping level. Both Raman, IR and 31P MAS-NMR results reveal the presence of Q1 and Q2 species
