Number of pages: 273This grammar was published in 1976; a 5-vowel spelling system is used. It is not an excellent grammar in my opinion (the grammar explanations are sometimes clumsy, it is too influenced by a traditional vision of grammar more suited to Latin and Spanish, too much space is dedicated to rarely used noun/verb forms and little space dedicated to important questions, such as syntax).
And yet, it has something appealing and charming. I hope it can be useful for Quechua learners, since there are not many materials available for this beautiful (and not sufficiently valued) language of the Americas.
It is worth mentioning the authors' curious introduction, in which Quechua is related to a future, hypothetical, glorious, anti-imperialist time for Peru. They also passionately defend the unity of Quechua.
