Incomplete input data. – 23 p.
Germany unleashed Blitzkrieg on an unsuspecting world in 1939, and, until mid - 1942, enjoyed a tremendous advantage in armored warfare. Contrary to popular conceptions, and with few exceptions, this was not due to any particular technical superiority of their vehicles, but rather to fire support, training, tactics, and the flexibility of their organizational structure. For example, all ranks were trained to be able to perform not only their jobs, but the jobs of a rank at least one level higher. Other factors played major roles in their superiority: at the start of the war, every German tank carried a radio; it was not until 1943 that this was true of their opponents.
