The issue of the relationship between economy and morality is an important content of ethics, which is concerned with the sustainable development of social economy, the construction of human beings ’ material civilization and spiritual civilization and the progress of human society. From the beginning of human society, the ethical issues caused by econom y and moral ity are followed with in terest by both government officials and thinkers. In modern times, business ethics has become prominent with widespread practice of market economic institution in the world. In fact, the moral normlessness and decline in any national economic sphere will lead to chaos of economic order and economic efficiency, which will also dispel people's basic moral beliefs, destroy the social trust and even affect the credibility of government. As a result, most countries focus on and try to handle well the issue of coordinated development of economy and morality in order to constrain the opinion of economic development priority without moral regulation when they are engaged in social and economic development . R eason and thoughts are the symbol of human beings and the co m munication and sharing of thoughts are unique to human being. As people belong to different countries, their unique nations, culture and eco nomic development breeds a continuous exchange of ideas internationa l ly. The e conomic globalization in today's world and the f reedom of ne t 6 中国 经济伦理研究 work communication p romote the exchange and impact of various na tional cultures . Therefore, in order to promote the communication b e tween Chinese and foreign scholar s, it is necessary to introduce what Chinese ethical scholars have done to business ethics in the world. B usiness ethics issues concerning the relationship between economy and morality have already become the key social issues which Chinese scholars in ethics, economics, jurisprudence , politics and sociology , all focus on since the market economic institution was implemented in the ‘90s. Within the these two volumes, we collect ed six essential parts of Chinese ethical research findings , including e thics of market economy, business ethics as a d iscipline , v alues of b usiness ethics , justice and e n vironmental ethics , e thics of integrity and c orporate social responsibi l ity .
