Ebook: How to Cook Everything, Completely Revised 10th Anniversary Edition: 2,000 Simple Recipes for Great Food
Author: Mark Bittman
I'm not much of a cook, but after I was laid off a year ago I took on more responsibilities at home. Prior to getting this book I relied almost completely on The New Best Recipes from Cooks Illustrated. Good book and the food is delicious, but the recipes are often complicated and time consuming. Mark Bittman's approach is simpler and just as delicious. I'm now cooking like a pro, and we are eating great every night. I think Mark Bittman's approach is healthier too. Highly recommended.
P.S. - Get a cheap cast iron skillet and a brick. Try Bittman's chicken under a brick. Yummy.
